The Magellan RoadMate 2000 is smaller and lighter than previous Roadmates. Simple touch-screen menus and a built-in interactive map of the contiguous U.S. (48 states) makes it easy to select a destination and get voice/visual turn-by-turn directions as you drive.

Included is the advanced processing chipset, SirfstarIII, which makes receiving a satellite signal faster and easier with a stronger and wider search range. Quickly acquire a signal when you first turn on your Magellan RoadMate and avoid the 'no signal' problem when you find yourself in urban canyons.

A complete set of advanced features include SmartDetourTM to route you around sudden slow freeway traffic, multi-destination routing, QuickSpellTM to quickly enter your destination, and 3D 'bird's-eye' view to clearly see your surroundings. Plus, the built-in battery gives you continuous use for up to 3 hours.
