GARMIN's Gekos are extremely small, user-friendly personal navigators that weigh in at just over 3 ounces!

Gekos are handheld receivers that have been designed to provide the most commonly used navigation functions through a simple user interface. All products are completely waterproof. The Geko 201 and Geko 301 provide enhanced position accuracy to 3 metres when receiving valid WAAS corrections. Geko 201 and Geko 301 also offer more advanced capabilities as outlined below. These features include additional memory for use waypoints, routes, track log and interface capabilities for both a personal computer and external power.

GEKO 301

The Geko 301 includes all the software and hardware features of the Geko 201, as well as a built-in electronic compass which provides bearing information while you're standing still, and a barometric altimeter to determine your precise altititude (-2,000 to 30,000 feet).

It also provides a digital readout of user selectable data fields such as ascent and descent rate, total climb distance and vertical speed, glide ratio, glide ratio to destination, vertical speed to destination.

Geko 301 also plots pressure trends for a 12 hour period, allowing the user to anticipate changing weather conditions.
