The
GPSMAP 176 provides full-featured navigation and quick map draws
using a high speed RISC processor. The
GPSMAP 176's 10-level grayscale display measures 3.75 inches
diagonal and delivers a crisp picture thanks to a pixel count
of 320 x 240.
This
model is equipped with a built-in
Americas Highway basemap and tide data for the United States.
Additional
detail can also be downloaded to GARMIN
data cards from MapSource
CD-ROMs and plugged into the GPSMAP 176.
