Characters, icons, numbers, and letters are rendered in any of three colors: red, green, and blue. These colors don't wash out in bright sunlight and are perfect for sorting out map pages cluttered with waypoints and tangled track logs.

The 12CX's 12 parallel channel receiver gives you continuous position updates and has vastly improved battery life - up to 50 percent over the 24 hours of the 12XL

The keypad layout includes separate "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" keys for simple manipulation of the moving map page, and the enhanced graphic interface organizes 1000 waypoints into an easily accessible tab-file system.

This unit's software includes a point database of cities, TracBack navigation, and graphic steering guidance.

The GPS 12 CX offers nine different language selections: English, Danish, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Portuguese and Norwegian.
